Aspect ratio is retained. Small images are not enlarged.
Output is limited to 16 million pixels for more stable processing.

About 19MB of processing code is downloaded on first use. Background removal output is limited to 4 million pixels. Complex backgrounds and hair may be inaccurate.

JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas use the selected color.

Frequently asked questions

Will files become smaller?

Not necessarily. JPG and PNG can be larger than AVIF. Compare actual output bytes and details.

Does PNG restore lost detail?

No. PNG preserves the decoded pixels without restoring detail lost in the source.

Are HDR and metadata preserved?

Do not rely on HDR appearance, color profiles or camera metadata being preserved.
