Privacy Policy
Effective and last revised: October 25, 2026. This English version describes the same operating practices as the Korean policy.
UBIS (the “operator”) operates UBIS Tool. This policy describes information actually processed by the website. It will be updated if site features or external services change.
1. Scope
This policy applies to web tools and content on ubistool.com. After following an external link, the destination site's policy applies.
2. Information and purposes
- Access and security records: IP addresses, browser and device information, access times, requested URLs, and error records may be generated automatically by the web server or security tools. They are used for service stability, error analysis, and preventing unauthorized access.
- Comments: Comments are disabled by default. If enabled for an individual item, the name, email, website, and comment entered by the author, along with the IP address and browser user agent, may be processed.
- Tool inputs: Information processed only within the browser is not sent to or stored on the operator's server unless otherwise stated. If a server-based feature is added, its processing method will first be explained on the tool page and in this policy.
Contact submissions: Submitting the contact form sends your reply email address, request type and message, and any selected image attachment through the server and mail services to review and respond to the request, address errors, or handle rights requests. Consent is requested at submission. You may refuse consent, but cannot submit the form without it. The site does not operate account registration or payment features.
3. Cookies
WordPress may use cookies for administrator login and display preferences. If comments are enabled and a visitor agrees, comment cookies may remember their name, email, and website. You can delete or block cookies in browser settings, although some features may be limited.
4. External content and services
Embedded video, images, or other external content may allow its provider to process visitor information and cookies. Where needed, the operator identifies the source or provider near that content.
If Google AdSense code is connected or advertisements are displayed, Google and other third parties may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to provide and measure advertising. Google's advertising cookies may use browsing history to provide ads. Manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. See Google's information about partner sites and apps for its data practices.
Opening the contact form loads Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and browser or device information during verification. The request message and attachment are not included in Turnstile verification requests. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
5. Retention and deletion
Information is kept only within the scope and period needed for its purpose. Server and security records may be retained for operation and security checks, then deleted according to server or hosting policies. Posted comments and related information may remain during content operation. Necessary action is taken on a valid deletion request or when operation ends.
Contact emails and attachments are deleted within 90 days after the request is resolved, unless a legally required retention period applies. Attachments are not registered in the public media folder. Private temporary server files are deleted when mail processing ends. The operator manages and deletes received copies in the recipient mailbox.
6. Third parties and processing environment
The operator does not arbitrarily sell or disclose personal information without a legal basis or user consent. Technical services such as hosting, security, and caching may process access records within their systems.
Contact delivery uses Cafe24 hosting's mail-sending function and Naver Mail for receiving and storing messages. Cloudflare Turnstile prevents automated submissions. For submission rate limiting, access addresses are converted to one-way values using a server secret and temporarily kept for up to 15 minutes. They are not included in contact emails.
7. Your rights and protection of information
To request access, correction, or deletion of information about you, select “Privacy or rights request” on the Contact page. The operator may request the minimum additional information needed to verify and handle your request.
Do not enter passwords, verification codes, resident registration numbers, financial information, or other sensitive information in tools or comments. Before using file tools, check the stated processing location and storage behavior.
8. Changes to this policy
If significant changes occur in collected information, purposes, external services, or advertising features, this page's revision date and content will be updated before they take effect.
Operator: UBIS
9. Tool usage statistics
New conversion tools collect daily totals of tool type, page opens, file selections, starts, completions, download clicks, errors, and whether a visit came from Naver, to improve quality. Statistics do not store files, filenames, input content, full referrer URLs, search terms, or user identifiers. Naver referrals are classified on the device using the browser-provided referrer; only the classification is sent. Collection is disabled when Do Not Track (DNT) is enabled. Access information used to prevent misuse is converted to a one-way value and processed temporarily for up to 2 minutes. Totals help improve operation and prioritize tools.
