Frequently asked questions

Why do two compounding choices differ?

Monthly compounding divides the annual rate by 12. The annual-rate option converts an annual effective rate to a monthly rate. These are different assumptions.

Does contribution timing matter?

Beginning-of-month contributions earn that month’s return. With no monthly contribution, the two timings produce the same result.

Are taxes and fees included?

No. The estimate uses a constant rate and excludes tax, fees, inflation and product-specific rules. Displayed KRW amounts are rounded.

Important information

Tool files and calculation inputs are processed in your browser, without uploading them to a processing server.

Keep original files and reopen downloaded results before replacing a working copy.

The existing South Korean won units and formulas are retained. The maximum term is 600 months. This is an estimate, not a promised return.
